Christmas

The prompt for 5 December was Christmas. It feels a bit odd putting up a picture of Christmas on New Year's Eve, but hey ho. This is kind of copying Kirsty's photo, but this Christmas bauble was in a retail outlet in Swindon at the weekend. That would be me, in the middle, with the pink camera (a christmas pressie). And that would be my (resigned) family behind me.

Card

The word for 6 December was card. I give you a monkee moo card. It had to happen .... it was just a matter of time .....

Celebrate

The word for 7 December was Celebrate. Sadly I didn't celebrate with a glass of this bubbly ..... well, it was before breakfast. I usually save such treats for elevensies .....

Frosty Moonlight

Two catch-up photos today, as they are both cheats. It's too cloudy and warm at the moment for there to be either Moonlight visible, which was the prompt for 11 December, or frost, for the Frosty prompt on 10 December. So these are my take on the words.

The album cover of Mike Oldfield's Moonlight Shadow (click on the link for a blast from my teenage past), and the cake frosting on my Mum's Christmas cake. Hey, at least I'm trying! (very)

Laces

Catching up with the word for 12 December, which was Laces. Knotted laces in this case. Glad they're not my boots so I won't have to undo them .....

Teddy

The word on 13 December was Teddy. Luckily my eldest got this one for Christmas. We tend to have more monkeys than teddies round these parts.

Puddle

Yes, I know it's Christmas (Merry Christmas!), but no one's up yet, so I thought I'd quickly catch up with the word from 14 December ..... Puddle.

There was a big puddle and my camper-van wheels got wet. On my desk ......

Drawer

Playing catch-up. The word for 17th December was Drawer. So here are my drawers. Ooh-er missus.

Glass

Over the 12 days of Christmas while the HS:MS girls are on their xmas hols, I'm playing catch-up. The word for the 18th was Glass. Although it was meant to be transparent, I liked this mirror, but you can see the window glass between the blind slats too.

Win

As the Her Space : My Space girls are taking a Christmas break (trust me to jump in at the wrong time!) I thought I'd play catch up with some of the prompts I've missed. Just a few to catch up with then .....

Having lurked around Her Space : My Space for a while (via SuzyB's blog, where I hang around a lot) (in a non-stalkery way, honest), and having been inspired by the brilliant pictures on there, and on other people's blogs, I thought I'd like to join the picture party.


So Glow is my first attempt. One day I hope to have a grown-up SLR camera, but for now I'm just using my trusty Minolta Dimage Z1. (Make that Minolta Damage Z1, after it was dropped - not by me - and is now held together with a long piece of metal. Nice)
